Thicker Than Blood
COLD BURN (a review) -
What I like about this book is that you can read the whole thing & then just reread the Sara/Grissom chapters. They are sent to a retreat in New Paltz, NY for a forensics conference. Thanks to a major blizzard, they are snowed in with one other CSI (from Canada) and an assortment of hotel workers. When Grissom and Sara find a burning body in the snow, everybody becomes a suspect. Still snowed in, Grissom, Sara and the Canadian CSI must improvise to find all the clues & solve the murder.
Meanwhile, on the home front, Catherine, Warrick & Nick, find a frozen body near Lake Mede. They dive into an old missing persons case handled by
day-shift, to solve their case.
Both cases will leave you guessing, until the end. The Grissom/Sara case has some cute flirting, yeah GSR. I thought the book was well written.

I have a set of them. Cold Burn is great. Some good pre-cannon GSR flirting. I totally recommend it.
