I can not even begin to explain the experience that I had that night. Just the fact that I was going to see Billy was enough for me. The added bonus of having Jorja show up and then Reese was just the icing on the cake.

We were in the second row and the fact that the theatre is so small I felt like I was sitting right next to Billy during the play. At one point in the play he sits on a stool at one end of the stage which happened to be our end. He turns and talks to the audience a little and it seemed as if he was talking right to me because he was looking right at me. Totally captivating. He is such a great actor. He really got you into the emotions of the play. The girl that plays his daughter was very good as well. I did not know whether to laugh or cry at one point when he is fighting with her. They were so on the mark with the emotions people experience is alcoholic families. I grew up with an alcoholic father and the feelings she had for him are so true. Billy played it so well at one point he totally turned into my father for me and I was just amazed at how he could transform himself. The play had a bigger impact on me then what I thought it would.

On a lighter note Jorja was just the sweetest thing. She was so nice to everyone. I am sure she would have taken pictures with people and signed autographs had people asked. I was amazed that not one person asked her. Everyone at the play were very respectful of her space. No one ran up to her or were trying to get near her. everyone just let her walk around and they would talk to her as she passed by. She brought Billy flowers and a card. The staff at the theatre asked her if she would like to go in the back to see Billy and she said No she would wait until after. She then bought some drinks with her friends and just hung out with everyone. She was so normal and down to earth, it was really nice to see. I must also say she looked awesome. Even my Husband made the comment That she looked really good. He thought they had her looking not so good in her last few episodes and that she seemed to look much heavier in the last few episodes. Let me tell you in real life I think the girl is 98 pounds wet... She is really skinny... Her hair and everything just looked perfect. She did make the comment to one person that she is not doing anything right now.

I did not see Reese myself but my husband did. Jorja talked to her and was very excited when she came back over by her friends. She was very cute telling them what they said to each other. I would have to put this day up there with the top days of my life. Just below the birth of my children and my wedding. It was awesome. I never expected to see Jorja and it was a great surprise..
I only took pictures outside the theatre. I also took some around the city. I will put some up below this.... Yes it was a once and a life time event...

WOW!! What an experience! What an amazingly talented man! I know, nothing we all don't know about Billy but, WOW!! I am disappointed that Billy did not come out after the play so no autograph or pic. But don't think I wasn't looking for him, just didn't find him. I wish I could take out my memory and make a video of what I saw because I am not going to be able to describe how great it really was and I am sorry for that.

My Mom and I were one of the 1st in the theatre and I was amazed at how small it and the stage was. Reminded me of a small lecture room or something. We asked if we could take a pic of the stage before the actors came out and they said no to that too. I guess the set is copyrighted, so no pics at all of the inside.

Even though I was in the 6th row, I was only about 20 feet away from him. With him on stage and how the chairs were on the incline, I was about eye to eye with him. At one point, my Mom said he was staring right at us. Now he really couldn't see us because it was too dark but I can and will always dream that he did. LOL!!

When the play started and Billy came out, I had a major HOT FLASH! I was shaking and just couldn't take my eyes off him. I studied him from top to bottom. He has big hands and feet and ya know what they say about that! LOL!! He wasn't wearing a wedding ring either. I don't know if it was because he was in character or he just doesn't wear it. He spoke in an Irish accent. But he sounded like Billy. (I know that sounds dumb but I was taking him all in)

He was on stage almost every minute of the play, about an hour and a half. NO intermission! There was a younger guy, maybe about 20, and a woman in the play too. The younger guy was with Billy the most but didn't have near as much speaking parts as Billy did. It was more of Billy telling the younger guy stories. Billy spoke almost constantly. So amazing the memory he must have. He pours everything he has into his character.

Some of Billy's lines were funny. He does funny lines well. He kept saying, in that Irish accent, Fuck! Totally cracked me up! He also had a line, while talking about a 4 day drinking streak, where he spoke of "The Screamin' Shits." Too funny!! It is funny when you think about it, Billy talking about screaming shits from drinking. Of course, it wasn't Billy talking, it was his character John, but you know what I mean.

It was also cool to me that when Billy was listening to the other actor speaking, the mannerisms were Grissom. Or maybe I need to say, Grissom's mannerisms are Billy's. I could see Grissom in certain ways he cocked his head and moved his hands. Like when Grissom is listening to a suspect in the interrogation room.

When the play was over, they came out and took a bow. We gave them a standing ovation. I couldn't believe it was over. It was the fastest hour and a half I have ever experienced and I hadn't had enough yet. I will NEVER get enough Billy!!

I can tell you this. Mark my words, I WILL do my best to go to every play that Billy is in, in Chicago. Well worth the 11 hrs I spent in the car these past 2 days, getting lost in Chinatown in Chicago, having a begger come to my window holding a cup out, and being scared to death to drive in Chicago. (Actually, Chicago is not that bad to drive in. It's just not knowing where you are going and getting lost that is scary.)

If anyone ever gets a chance to see him in person, there is no excuse NOT to. NONE!! Well worth the money! To watch him act in person and to think that he truly loves theatre in order to do that over and over again is such an experience. To think that he memorizes all those lines and I'm sure doesn't get paid anything close to what CSI pays him and to think that he is basically leaving CSI to go back to theatre is amazing. I can't imagine doing that in front of all those people. WILLIAM PETERSEN IS THE MOST TALENTED ACTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN. Seeing him in person just proves that to me more than what I thought before.

In the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, it is said that the number 42 is the answer to "Life, the Universe, and EVERYTHING."
42 is the angle in degrees for which a rainbow appears. (pretty... ;o)
42 was the number of Mulder's apartment (c'mon, don't tell me you didn't know that...)
In an episode of "House M.D" House claims that his favorite number is 42.-not as exciting, but still...
The number 42---And now, it holds new meaning.....
William Petersen is now the 42nd member of the Seppenwolf Ensemble!! Go to Steppenwolf's website to read about it and see his HOT mug!

Thank you for writing that all down. I loved hearing about it last night on the phone. "The screaming shits" still cracks me up.
